Maths Week 2017

6th Nov 2017

We had a wonderful few days celebrating Maths Week once again this year! Despite losing two days at the beginning of the week due to Hurricane Ophelia's exceptional closures, all the children thoroughly enjoyed working on a wide variety of practical maths tasks throughout the school. Children experienced Math's Trails, Maths Challenge Boards and Maths Eyes activities in every class. Each child in the school also designed a poster for Maths Week. To conclude the week, we had a non-uniform day where every child wore an item of clothing with a number on it to school instead of their school uniform. It is fantastic to see such a positive attitude towards maths from all the children and we look forward to organising further events later in the year to support teaching and learning in this subject area. Thank you to all staff and parents for their support during this week.
