We were delighted to welcome Mr Ian Patterson into school with his 'Birds of Prey'.
We were lucky to see these beautiful birds up close. We saw a Barn Owl, a Kestrel, a Harris Hawk and a Spotted Owl.
Some staff and pupils were able to 'fly' them and they perched on their arm as they wore the special falconry glove.
We all learned lots of very interesting facts and we hope Mr. Patterson will come to visit us again! Maybe next time we will be able to see his Harris Hawk fly - he is only a baby and not fully trained yet!
