Catholic Schools Week.
From Monday 27th January we celebrated Catholic Schools Week in our school.
The theme this year was 'Living in Harmony with God's Creation'
We began the week with a school assembly discussing what makes us great in our Catholic school. We explored how we work and live together as a school, parish and wider community family, supporting and encouraging each other at all times.
On Thursday 30th January, we joined the catholic schools of the Dromore Diocese, in St Therese's Church, Banbridge to celebrate a beautiful Mass with Archbishop Eamon Martin.
During the service, members from each school brought a 'handprint' with their school logo on it and this was placed on to a beautiful wooden carved tree.
Each handprint represents the impact we all make on our community, regional and world environment. We are also reminded that we need to make positive impacts throughout this beautiful world in which we live.
Each school was presented with a sapling to plant in each school grounds.
