Catholic Schools Week Mass

On Wednesday 27th January, Mrs McGrath, Mrs Starrs and 6 of our Primary 7 pupils, were invited to a Mass in Newry Cathedral to celebrate Catholic Schools.

All Catholic Primary and Post-Primary Schools of the diocese were invited to attend. One of our pupils read a Prayer of the Faithful during the Mass. Some other schools were invited to read, sing, and dance during the service. Caoimhe, in Primary 7, was delighted to be with us and said 'I loved how the Sacred Heart Grammar School used Drama to tell the Gospel story.' 

We were delighted to be involved in such a beautiful Mass to celebrate our schools.
