Football Blitz

St. Patrick’s Magheralin were the hosts of a Cumann na mBunscol Football Blitz on Friday 29^th April.  Five local primary schools (Derrymore, Derrytrasna, Lurgan Model, St.Patrick’s Aghagallon and St. Patrick’s Magheralin) came together to contest their skills on the football field.

It was a fantastic day with three teams coming out on top: St. Patrick’s Magheralin; Derrymore A and Derrytrasna: winning all their games except for one!

A huge thank-you goes to St. Michael’s GAC for the use of the pitch as well as the changing rooms.

This is the second ‘Go Games’ Blitz that St. Patrick’s Magheralin have been involved in this year and we look forward to hearing about their achievements in the up and coming blitzes over the next two months. Watch this space!
