Internet Safety Awareness
REIM Training Solutions held a Parent's Workshop on Tuesday 10th January on 'Internet Safety and Social Media'.
This highly informative evening made our parents aware of the online dangers that face our children in today's world. We looked at the importance of keeping our children safe online and making them secure enough to come and speak to anyone of us if they were ever to come across something that was not suitable for them or caused them distress.
We also looked at the Apps that are widely available to so many. Parents were made aware of those which can potentially lead to problems and affect the well-being of their children.
I am highly indebted to REIM Training Solutions for their excellent delivery - specifically Carl Brown from REIM who educated all of us on the night!
I must also extend a huge 'Thank You' to all the parents who attended last night. Your support last night was fantastic. Our main aim is to educate the children in our school and prepare them for their journey into the wider world. We do this in conjunction with their parents in the hope that we are shaping strong minds and happy individuals - preparing them for all that may come their way.
I look forward to welcoming REIM back into our school again and working alongside them.
Many Thanks,
Cathy Corbett
