As part of our Literacy curriculum, we have been studying Newspapers this term. We have been looking at headlines, events, articles and the general format that is followed to create an effective piece of journalistic writing.
We have also used our imagination to play the role of journalists, news anchors and eyewitnesses. We have taken part in various role play activities. We really enjoyed these activities - and we grew in confidence as we acted out our 'News Bulletins' in front of our peers - something we found very difficult at first! Well Done everyone!
