On Tuesday 11th September, children from our Primary 5 class were invited to attend the opening of the refurbished play park in Magheralin Village.
Joan Noade, Play Development Officer, Armagh, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough Council, had visited the children in school last year to ask them about what they would like to see in the park.
The park was officially opened by Julie Flaherty, Lord Mayor of Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon.
The park looks wonderful and is a great development for the children of the village. It has plenty of space and plenty of play equipment for the children to play on. We were able to road test the park with children from Maralin Village Primary School. We had great fun!
