Primary 2 and 3 have been writing Explanation Texts

In Primary 2 and 3 we have been looking at explanation texts.  We have been creating flow diagrams and writing short explanations.

We began by exploring how snakes shed their skin and we then went on to investigate the life cycle of a frog and the life cycle of a butterfly. We created flow diagrams to explain each life cycle.

We then worked independently to create a flow diagram about how plants grow. We produced excellent diagrams which are now displayed outside our classroom. We presented our explanations to the rest of our class and we were given lots of great feedback from our friends.
